Who can use this service?

Taranaki, pēpi (babies) and tamariki (children) under 5 years old.

What you can expect

Our registered, Well Child Tamariki Ora nurses empower parents and tamariki to thrive. They work alongside kaiārahi who awhi whānau with holistic hauora support.

Our Well Child Tamariki Ora nurses can support you with:

  • Well Child development checks
  • B4 School Checks
  • Keeping the whole whānau up to date with life-saving immunisations
  • Education, advice and support to successfully navigate parenting and hauora challenges.

This is a free service

for whānau living in Mōkau, Waitara, Inglewood, Coastal Taranaki and New Plymouth.

There is priority for Māori and high needs clients who face barriers to receiving adequate care.

 

Places you can access this service

At all Tui Ora locations by appointment and home visits are also available.
