Four year olds currently enrolled in our Tamariki Ora /Well Child service.
A free health and development check for 4-year-olds. We gently guide your tamariki through different exercises – checking things like their hearing and eyesight – to make sure they can have the best start to learning when they start school.
This 45–60-minute session is a great opportunity for parents to raise and discuss any questions or concerns they have about their child’s development and wellbeing. A B4 School Check typically involves testing, measuring or assessing:
for whānau living in Mōkau, Waitara, Inglewood, Coastal Taranaki and New Plymouth.
There is priority for Māori and high needs clients who face barriers to receiving adequate care.
