Our physical health impacts how we live – and how we live impacts our physical health. Come in and kōrero about what’s going on in your whānau. Our hauora specialists, nurses and kaiārahi are friendly (and often familiar) faces. There’s support for every member of your whānau — from hapu māmā and new pēpi through to koro and kuia.
Give us a call on 0800 TUI ORA or just drop into Te Whaitua Whānau — no appointment necessary.
Our Community Nursing teams are made up of registered nurses (who provide clinical care and health advice) and kaiārahi — navigators and advocates who awhi whānau with holistic hauora support. We also offer a range of Nursing Services for whānau with Tamariki.
Our kaiārahi, registered nurses, public health teams and hauora experts can awhi your whānau with programmes and services designed for Māori, with Māori and by Māori. If you have a whānau hauora goal or want support getting something health-related sorted, the chances are we can help!
Tui Ora’s Registered Nurses do most of their mahi out in the community. We team up with kaiārahi and visit whānau at home, on the marae or anywhere they need us.
Our nurses are empathetic professionals who understand the importance of trusting, respectful relationships where whānau feel safe, seen and supported.
Te kete Rongoā connects us to the pure essence of Papatūānuku so we can release the burdens of the day and reignite our wairua — realigning it with the beating heart of our whenua. Our kairongoā hold this taonga of physical therapies and spiritual healings and offer them to our whānau – ngā iwi o Taranaki.
Check out our Mindful Movement videos – easy, simple exercises you can fit into your daily life that strengthen muscles, make you feel good and generally provide a boost to your hauora and wellbeing.
Dreading doing something? Motivate yourself with a reward – the job gets done and you have something nice in your day as well. A win/win.
It’s not just what we do, but how we do it. Find out what you can expect from Tui Ora and learn more about our mana-affirming, holistic approach to whānau hauora.
